I-64 East through the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel to the Naval Base/Granby Street exit (# 276A). Bear left onto Granby Street. Granby Street downtown to courthouse (on left at intersection of Granby Street and Brambleton Avenue).

From points East
264 West. Left exit onto Waterside Drive. Get in the far right-hand lane. First right onto St. Paul's Boulevard. Left onto Brambleton Avenue. Left onto Granby Street.

From points South
264 West through the downtown tunnel. Follow the signs to Waterside Drive. First right onto St.Paul's Boulevard. Left onto Brambleton Avenue. Left onto Granby Street.

From points North
I-95 South to I-295 South exit (# 84). I-295 to I-64 East (#200). I-64 through the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel to the Naval Base/Granby Street exit (# 276A). Bear left onto Granby Street. Granby Street downtown to courthouse (on left at intersection of Granby Street and Brambleton Avenue).

 
Additional Information
  The Clerk's Office, judges' chambers and courtrooms are on the fourth floor.

Visitors enter the courthouse through the building's main entrance on Granby Street. You will be required to walk though a magnetometer and your bags will be screened by an x-ray machine. You will be required to show a photo ID issued by a government agency, such as a driver's license. Visitors are not alowed into the building before 8:30 a.m.

Members of the public are prohibited from bringing cell phones, pagers, PDAs, laptop computers, cameras, tape recorders, and all other personal electronic devices into the building. There are no lockers available to store these items while you visit the building.

Attorneys who require laptops for their courtroom presentations must receive prior approval from a judge.

 
Parking
 

Public parking is available at the Scope Coliseum garage. The entrance is on St. Paul's Boulevard. Please ignore the "Full" sign if it is not blinking.

Some on-street, metered parking is available around the courthouse. Parking lots surrounding the building are private parking, and are regularly monitored with violators subject to towing.
